In summaryThe website has no forms or user accounts and does not ask you for personal data. The questionnaires are calculated in your browser and your answers are not sent or stored. This policy complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What this website does not do

Questionnaires (IPSS, warning signs): the score is calculated by code that runs in your own browser. Your answers do not leave your device, are not stored and disappear when you reload or close the page. «Print or save as PDF» uses your browser's print function.
No forms on this website: there is no registration, newsletter, comments or contact form. The form for booking an appointment at the private practice is on the Urología Mínimamente Invasiva website (see section 5).
No advertising or tracking: there are no adverts, tracking pixels or user profiles. The only statistics are the aggregated visitor statistics described in section 3.
No embedded third-party content: the typefaces and images are served from this website; the only external resource is Cloudflare's small statistics script (section 3). Social media, PubMed, the Urología Mínimamente Invasiva website, WhatsApp and other websites appear only as links; if you follow them, the privacy policy of that website or service applies.

3. Hosting: technical data

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). To deliver the pages and protect the website against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data from each visit, such as the IP address, browser type, page requested and date and time. Your browser may also send Cloudflare automatic network error reports. The owner does not use these data to identify anyone.

Cloudflare acts as the service provider (data processor). The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR. More information in the Cloudflare privacy policy ↗.

Visitor statistics. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused statistics tool. A small script (static.cloudflareinsights.com) measures, in aggregate, how many visits each page receives, from which country and with which type of browser, and how long it takes to load. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not create profiles and does not track anyone across websites. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in understanding the basic use and performance of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information in the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation ↗.

4. If you write to me by email

If you write to this website's contact address, I will process your email address, your name if you give it and the content of your message, solely in order to reply to you. The legal basis is your consent when writing (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Messages are kept for as long as necessary to reply and are then deleted, unless the law requires them to be kept. They are not disclosed to third parties. Email is managed with an email provider (Google), which acts as data processor.

Do not send health information or medical reports: medical queries are not answered by email.

5. If you book an appointment at the private practice

Appointments at my private practice are booked directly with Urología Mínimamente Invasiva (UROLOGIA MINIMAMENTE INVASIVA S.L.P.) by phone, WhatsApp, email or the form on its website. These data do not pass through this website: that practice processes them as data controller, under its own privacy policy, which you can read on its website ↗.

WhatsApp is an external service (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of the Meta group). If you use it to book an appointment, its terms and privacy policy also apply. The WhatsApp link on this website only opens the conversation: this website does not load any WhatsApp or form code.

6. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] stating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, Spanish Data Protection Agency) ↗.

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies. The only thing it may store on your device is your choice of light or dark mode, and only if you use the button in the header: it is saved in your browser's local storage (key «tema») so that it is remembered on your next visits. It contains no personal data, is not sent to any server and you can delete it from your browser settings. The last check was in October 2026: the server does not set any cookies and the Cloudflare statistics described in section 3 do not use cookies either. As there are no non-essential cookies and you expressly choose the mode preference yourself, no consent notice or banner is required (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE).

If embedded videos or other services that use cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated and, if necessary, your consent will be requested before they are activated.
